When should you see a pedicurist?

In depthReading time: 3 minutes

Go as soon as something bothers you when walking, not only when it hurts. A small problem on the foot rarely improves by itself.

The explanation

Clear reasons are a corn that stabs with every step, a crack that keeps opening, a nail edge that pricks or nails so thick that you can no longer trim them yourself. Callus that is starting to split belongs in that list too.

Less obvious reasons are just as valid: a spot that always nags after a walk, a nail that feels different, or skin that is suddenly much drier than you are used to. Feet give early signals.

Anyone without complaints who simply wants to keep walking comfortably comes for maintenance. Every six to eight weeks is a good rhythm for most people; everything stays in order and nothing becomes a problem.

Patty's advice

With one clear complaint a short treatment of up to thirty minutes for €28.50 is enough. For a full assessment, choose a standard treatment.
