Pedicure at home: who is it for?

A treatment at home is often seen as something for people who can no longer leave the house. That is one reason, but certainly not the only one. Mobile foot care is for anyone for whom it simply suits better.

1. When travelling is difficult

Being unsteady on your feet, having no car, depending on someone to bring you: all reasons why an appointment out of the house gets postponed. And postponed often means cancelled.

If the pedicurist comes to you, that barrier disappears. Your feet get the care they need without you having to arrange anything.

2. When your diary will not cooperate

Caring for someone else, small children at home, irregular shifts: sometimes it is simply impossible to plan going somewhere. Being treated at home costs only the time of the treatment itself.

No travel time, no parking, no waiting. For many people that makes the extra €5 well worth it.

3. When someone else arranges the care

If you arrange care for a parent or partner, an appointment at home is often far more practical. You do not have to transport anyone and you can be there if that helps.

Two treatments in a row at the same address is usually easy to plan; ask when you book.

4. What you need at home

A chair at a comfortable height and a spot with some light and space so Patty can reach your feet. She brings everything else herself.

There is no card terminal, so payment is by Tikkie, by invoice or in cash. That is no different at home than at the practice.

5. Where Patty visits

In Hoorn and the surrounding area, including Zwaag, Blokker, Wognum, Berkhout and Enkhuizen. If you live just outside that circle, call or message.

A standard treatment at home costs €50, a medical treatment €57.50. That is €5 on top of the practice rate (excluding travel costs).
