Cracks appear where the skin is thick and dry and yet still has to move. The heel is the classic spot: with every step the callused rim is pushed outwards and at some point it tears. It starts as a small line and can grow into a painful, sometimes bleeding crack.
Patty removes the hard edges and levels the crack so that it cannot tear further. After that, care at home is decisive: a cream containing urea keeps the skin supple, so the crack can close instead of tearing open again and again.
The practice works exclusively with HFL Laboratories, a professional product line for feet and nails. These products are kind to the skin, effective and contain natural ingredients that help the skin recover.

Because dry, thick callused skin does not move with the load. Open footwear, standing work and dry skin all make it worse.
Having the hard edges removed and then moisturising daily with a cream containing urea. Moisturising alone, without removing the callused rim, often is not enough.
It is an open wound in any case. Keep it clean, cover it and have it treated. If you have diabetes or poor circulation, do not wait.
It is included in the standard treatment. Separately as a short treatment it costs €28.50.
