Pedicure Patty values your privacy. This statement explains which personal data we process, why, how long we keep it and what rights you have. The controller is Pedicure Patty, Botter 96, 1625 DG Hoorn, KvK 95181180, reachable at pedicurepraktijkpatty00@gmail.com and 06 23 66 24 85.
When you request an appointment through the form on this website, we process your name, telephone number, email address, town and the details you enter yourself about your complaint and preferred treatment. If you attach a photo, we process that photo as well. If you call, message or email us, we process the details you provide.
For a treatment we additionally record limited information about your feet, such as previous complaints and advice given. If you report a condition that affects the treatment, for example diabetes or rheumatism, we note that because it determines how the treatment is carried out. This is health data and we treat it confidentially.
We process your data to contact you, to schedule an appointment, to carry out the treatment safely and appropriately and to maintain our administration and invoicing. The legal basis is the performance of the agreement with you, and for health data your explicit consent. A statutory obligation applies to the financial records.
Requests that do not lead to an appointment are kept for a maximum of twelve months. Treatment records are kept for as long as you are a client and for a maximum of five years afterwards. Invoices and accounts are kept for seven years, as required by the Dutch tax authorities.
We never sell your data. We share it only with parties needed to run this website and the practice: the party hosting the website, the party processing the contact form and, if you choose it, your own payment environment. Data processing agreements are in place with those parties. If Patty refers you to your GP, for example, that only happens with your knowledge.
This website only places functional and security cookies needed to make the site work. No tracking cookies, advertising cookies or external analytics services are loaded. Fonts are served from our own server and not retrieved from a third party, so your IP address does not leave the site. The cookie policy describes this in more detail.
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data. You may also object to processing, request transfer of your data and withdraw consent at any time. Send a message to pedicurepraktijkpatty00@gmail.com. We respond within four weeks. If we cannot resolve it together, you may lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
The website works exclusively over a secure HTTPS connection. Data from the form is transmitted encrypted. Paper notes are kept locked away. If you suspect your data is not properly secured, please contact us immediately.
This privacy statement may be amended when the practice or legislation gives reason to. The current version is always on this page.
